2004 Copied Journals

These are from a personal site I used to host my journal on. Hopefully once I get a chance to backtrack I will find the picutres that go with the posts and post them as well.

December 5th 2004
Today wasnt a very exciting day. We where going to finish up our Christmas Decorating but Daddy Seemed to have a case of the sleepy heads so we just watched cartoons and relaxed. Hopefully tomorrow we can get back to decorating. I told Alex we would do it in the evening so I doubt he will let me forget.Now, Today may have been slow BUT the week we just finished wasnt. Alex had a Eye Doctors appointment on Thurs where we found out he is VERY farsighted. His vision is 20/100 in both of his eyes. Now mind you He never said anything about having trouble seeing, and he is doing well in school. But this is the second result we have gotten with the same numbers so his glasses should be in this week Will post a picture when they are here!

December 6th 2004
Alex came home with a very exciting paper from school today. Seems a local radio station was in his school and they recorded his class saying the pledge of Allegiance and on Wed morning at 7:05 they will be playing it on the radio :) Its a very special thing.. There is a diffrent class each day.. but with so many schools in this area.. its hard to get your class to be selected.. so we are very excited.. on another exciting note. I found a cool eyeglass case for him today! :) Its red with Pokemon on it.. He is very happy

Well Today was the big day! The vision center at Walmart called and said Alex's glasses where in! So.. off we went at 7 oclock this evening to get them. He seems to be really happy with them... They took some bending at the store to get them right for him but now they are looking great! :)

This morning we made sure to set the alarm so we could get up earlier than usual so we could hear Alex and His class do the pledge on the radio ! It was wonderful! :) He is very proud of himself..and I taped it for him so he can have it. :)

December 15th 2004
After school today I dropped Alex off at my Grandmothers house and him and my mother made Christmas Cutout Cookies with sprinkles :) He was so excited to go over! :) He came home with a container of them and told me they are for santa on christmas so I better get out the santa cookie plate.. lol! :) Tomorrow Is his school christmas program, I am gonna take the camera and try to get some good pictures to share :)

The School Christmas Production was wonderful :) All the kids where adorable and had a great time.. I wasnt able to get any real good pictures . Most are just Alex in a crowd.. So I wont be sharing any :( But Christmas will be here soon and then I will have plenty of pictures to share

Tonight is Christmas Eve.. My father arrived safe and sound after being held up a day by 18 inches of snow.. OUCH.. We have none here.. Wierd Change from years past! This evening we went to visit relatives for a Christmas Eve party..and now we are home finishing up the last minute santa prep details.. I added two pictures from tonight.. One is Alex opening his new Jammies !They are incredibles.. and His new Polar Express book.. and the other is him and my niece! :)
